Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on 11/11/2025.
At Whitley Wellness, LLC, we are committed to making our website — https://www.whitleywellness.com — accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the site with the same or similar ease and enjoyment as other visitors. Accessibility is achieved through design, structure, and compatibility with assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines to ensure accessibility for all users. The site is designed to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.
As part of this effort, we have:
-
Used an accessibility-checking tool to identify and correct potential accessibility issues
-
Set the site language for screen readers
-
Organized content in a logical, accessible order
-
Defined clear heading structures on all pages
-
Added descriptive alternative text to images
-
Applied color combinations that meet required contrast ratios
-
Minimized motion and animation for ease of viewing
-
Ensured that all videos, audio files, and downloadable materials are accessible
-
We regularly review and update our website to maintain accessibility and usability for all visitors.
Partial Compliance Due to Third-Party Content
Some sections of our website rely on content or functionality provided by third parties — such as Google Maps, embedded scheduling forms, and the patient portal platform — which are not fully controlled by Whitley Wellness, LLC. While we strive to ensure these integrations are accessible, certain elements may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We continue to work with our vendors to improve accessibility for all users.
